Authorities' Anti-DPRK Moves Condemned in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations of south Korea called press conferences outside the buildings of the "Ministry of Unification" and the "Ministry of National Defense" on Feb. 20 in denunciation of the puppet authorities' moves to escalate confrontation with the DPRK. The organizations at the press conferences vehemently condemned the present authorities for having denied the inter-Korean declarations from the start of their seizure of power and bedeviled the inter-Korean relations through confrontation. The organizations charged that the said "ministries" have recently hampered the people's movement for reunification and clamored for "preemptive attack" while persisting in the policy of confrontation with the DPRK. They strongly demanded the resignation of the chiefs of those "ministries" taking the lead in the implementation of the present authorities' policy of confrontation. |
