A written declaration, made public at the ceremony, said that the solidarity would fight against the present "government" keen on the revival of fascist dictatorship so as to defend the right to existence of the people, get the issue of jobless young people settled without fail and achieve the peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.

Expressing the will to conduct the vigorous youth movement, it stated that for the present, the organization would deal a blow to the present "government" and the "Grand National Party" in the "local autonomy elections" in solidarity with other youth organizations at all levels.

Adopted at the ceremony was a platform of the organization the keynote of which is expansion of the youth's participation in the political affairs, building of democratic society, maintenance and implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, realization of peace on the Korean Peninsula and strengthening of solidarity with the people from all walks of life in struggle, etc.
