Sports Contest for Paektusan Prize Closes

| Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- The sports contest for Paektusan Prize, which was opened to celebrate the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il, was closed with due ceremony at the Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street on Friday. Men and women players of the April 25 Sports Group came first in basketball and volleyball events. Present at the ceremony were officials concerned and sportspersons. Jong In Chol, vice-chairman of the Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission, made a closing address. |
