Speakers at the meeting denounced the "government" and the ruling party for contemplating dispatching troops to Afghanistan again, breaking the promise made to the people.

Recalling it is only the authorities that are making haste to dispatch troops to the shambles of the Afghan war again when the international community is taking hands off it, they declared that this cannot be interpreted otherwise than a foolish and reckless action.
