Story of Kim Jong Suk

|
Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- One winter day in Juche 35 (1946) anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk, who had felt unwell for days, took to her bed after seeing off President Kim Il Sung going to his office. With her suffering from a high fever, an official sent for a doctor. Sitting up in sickbed to receive the doctor, she scolded the official for having invited the doctor for her slight illness. After attending to her, the doctor prescribed a complete rest for her with a high fever. When the doctor left, she reproached the official again for having sent for a doctor very busy over medical treatment with the just liberated country short of doctors. She then earnestly told him not to do such things as inviting a doctor again, indifferent to others' pain. |
