He also talked rubbish, bringing up the nuclear issue in the inter-Korean relations again, that it is the "spirit of the times and practical task assigned to the Ministry of Unification to move toward cooperation, going beyond the nuclear issue."

Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a signed commentary denounces those remarks as a vivid expression of the conservative group's unpardonable treacherous scheme to completely restore the past era of confrontation while totally denying the inter-Korean relations in the June 15 era of reunification.

The idea of "By our nation itself", which calls for rejecting outside forces and achieving the independent reunification by the united efforts of the entire nation, is serving as the spirit of the times in the June 15 era of reunification at present, the commentary says, and goes on:

But, Hyon dared assert sycophancy, treachery and confrontation with fellow countrymen, quite contrary to the idea, to be the "spirit of the times". It reveals that this traitor has neither an iota of national self-respect nor the slightest concept of fellow countrymen.

What further enrages one is the fact that he agitated his underlings not to "worry or hurry up" in the inter-Korean relations, calling for "adherence to principle".

He played the leading role in delaying the improvement of the inter-Korean relations desired by all fellow countrymen in two years. Not content with it, he has made such agitation this time. This goes to evidently prove that he is a diehard traitor who is dead-set against the reunification.

The improvement of the inter-Korean relations can never be expected as long as such anti-reunification traitors are allowed to stay in south Korea as Hyon In Thaek who justifies the anti-reunification policy of confrontation and seeks to enforce it in a more wicked way, swimming against the trend of the June 15 era of reunification.
