The appeal deplored that everything is going back to the period before the publication of the June 15 joint declaration due to the present authorities' anti-reunification acts and confrontation. The youth and students should widely introduce the main spirit of the June 15 joint declaration and its validity and vitality, deeply aware of them, and should not tolerate any act of denying them, the appeal noted.

It called upon all the youth and students to take the lead in the actions for opening the nationwide common events on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration.

It, at the same time, urged the youth and students to turn out as one in the anti-war and peace movement for the prosperity common to the nation and the peace on the Korean Peninsula and boost the solidarity with the youth and students in the north and abroad.

It stressed the need for everybody to unite close under the banner of All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration and take the lead in the dynamic reunification movement.
