Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- Foreign visitors to the DPRK lavished their praises of the free educational system in the DPRK after witnessing the reality in which everyone is given an ample opportunity of learning thanks to the state care. Zhang Jinquan, head of the delegation of the experimental primary school in Fusong County, China, said after visiting Kim Song Ju Primary School that the visit helped grasp well the true meaning of the teaching of President Kim Il Sung that children are "kings" of the country. The President spared nothing for the development of the education in the country, he noted, and went on: The universal eleven-year compulsory education is in force in the DPRK. The achievements made by the DPRK in education are the precious fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Tran Tho Chu, head of the delegation of the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Club, said that members of its delegation who studied in the DPRK realized the advantages of the educational system in the DPRK. Mark Flowers, head of a friendship delegation of New Zealand, had this to say: The Grand People's Study House is standing in the best place of the capital and it is huge in its scale and best in its architectural contents. A lot of people study hard in the house. We were deeply impressed to see them. Yusei Takara, head of the Japanese delegation for the study of the Juche idea, said after visiting the e-library of Kim Chaek University of Technology: General Secretary Kim Jong Il has always paid deep attention to the development of the nation's science and technology. He expressed the belief that the students studying at the university would make a positive contribution to the drive for scaling the eminence of ultra-modern science. |
