The bulletin in an article said that the KPA has played a leading role not only in the defence of the country but in all fields including the spiritual and cultural life and economic construction in the country, thus bringing the people great benefits.

It noted that servicepersons of the DPRK successfully completed the Anbyon Youth Power Station by displaying the spirit of devotedly defending the leader, the do-or-die spirit and the heroic self-sacrificing spirit in hearty response to the order of Supreme Commander of the KPA Kim Jong Il.

With the optimistic cultural lifestyle of soldiers prevailing in the society, the Korean people are leading a rich cultural and emotional life in their worksites and at families under the slogan "Let Us Go the Thorny Path Cheerfully!" the bulletin said, and continued:

The army has long made a great contribution to economic construction in the DPRK. The service personnel involved in the construction of the Huichon Power Station instilled into all the people the faith that they can surely attain the goal for opening the gate to a thriving nation in 2012 by creating the Huichon speed, a new Chollima speed.
