Authorities' Hindrance to Improved Relations Accused in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification issued a statement on March 5 accusing the south Korean puppet authorities of their anti-reunification racket such as interrupting national reconciliation and cooperation and arresting the improvement of the north-south relations.

The statement charged that the authorities are blocking the resumption of tour of Mt. Kumgang and the Kaesong area, repeatedly talking about "three-point condition" though the north has made its sincere efforts for improved inter-Korean relations and national reconciliation and cooperation.

It held that the present regime itself should refrain from threatening the people's life by dint of repressive armed forces before urging someone to "ensure personal safety".

If the authorities leave indelible wounds on the nation's strong desire for inter-Korean reconciliation and cooperation, they will be cursed and denounced by all the fellow countrymen, it warned.
