Minju Joson Dismisses US Elimination of N-Weapons Hypocritical
Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is mulling keeping its nuclear forces deployed in Europe as they are. This fact goes to prove that its "plan to build a world without nuclear weapons" is nothing but rhetoric to serve its propaganda purpose in an attempt to deceive the international community.

Minju Joson Tuesday says this in a signed commentary.

It is the U.S. nuclear strategy and policy initiative to monopolize nuclear weapons and maintain supremacy in the field of strategic offensive weapons and, on this basis, establish an unchallenged domination over the world, the commentary notes, and goes on:

In order to achieve this criminal objective the U.S. has deployed its nuclear forces at all strategic strongholds in different parts of the world, posing constant nuclear threats to its rivals and "potential enemies."

It was disclosed recently that the U.S. singled out six countries including the DPRK as "potential targets of its nuclear attack" and worked out even a scenario for mounting a preemptive attack on them, focusing the attention of the public.

While examining a new nuclear policy at present, the U.S. refused to declare in it that it would not use nukes against other countries first.

This means, in the final analysis, that the U.S. can use nukes first when necessary.

The disaster caused by nuclear weapons should not be allowed to repeat itself on the earth and mankind can no longer be exposed to the danger of a nuclear war.

The U.S. should, therefore, take the lead in eliminating nukes as it has the world's biggest stockpile of such weapons.

The U.S. is obliged to eliminate nuclear weapons from south Korea and its vicinity, to begin with, and withdraw all nukes from different parts of the world and dismantle them.

The U.S. should not merely talk about the elimination of nukes but prove its will through its practical actions.
