Taking into account various conditions such as population of districts, their health conditions, hygienic conditions of their families and working places, and doctors' ability and amount of work, the state properly separates production units and residential quarters for the section doctor system.

Under the well-organized section doctor system the people can take medical treatment at any time and at any place including isolated islands, rural communities and industrial establishments.

Foreigners who witnessed the advantage of the socialist health system of Korea admired its people for having their own doctors irrespective of age and position.
