Authorities' Anti-reunification Policy Flayed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Personages of different organizations in south Korea, including the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, the Federation of Peasants Associations, the Committee for Independent Reunification of the Solidarity for Progress, the Headquarters of the Movement for One and the Same People and the Women's Solidarity, had interviews with People's Voice, an Internet broadcasting service, to denounce the puppet authorities' escalated anti-reunification confrontation policy.

They charged that the authorities have done nothing good in two years of their office and what is more serious in their crimes is that they have driven inter-Korean relations to a catastrophe.

They accused the authorities of having "selectively excluded" nongovernmental organizations of different strata from cooperation and exchange with the north including working contacts and disallowed their activities under various pretexts.

Noting that the inter-Korean relations have reached the present worst phase over the past two years due to the authorities' Cold War conception, they warned that greater misfortune will befall in the future if such regime is allowed to stay any longer.

They stressed the need to carry on the struggle to thoroughly preserve and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration despite any difficulties.
