Policy of Discrimination against Women Blasted in S. Korea
Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- The Joint Planning Team for March 8 World Women's Day and members of women's organizations in education, health and public fields in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on March 6 in demand of the withdrawal of the puppet authorities' policy of discrimination against women.

Speakers at the rally charged that the present "government's" policy on women gets worse day by day and, accordingly, the position of women is festering.

They said that a lot of women turn to be part-time workers and get paid less wages for hard labor they were forced to do under bad conditions. They also deplored that women have not been guaranteed rights to childbirth, child upbringing and education, etc.

Stressing the need to put an end to all the discrimination and pressure on women without fail, they called upon all of them to turn out in the struggle to gain rights of women.
