The statement deplored that the women in south Korea groaning under the domination of outside forces and the dictatorial rule are suffering a lot due to the harsh discrimination in all fabrics of society including politics, economy and culture.

The women's political freedom, equality and emancipation should be achieved through the struggle for independence, democracy and reunification, the statement held.

Noting that outside forces and dictators' maltreatment of women should not be tolerated any longer, the statement called on the women to dynamically advance to achieve national independence and their emancipation under the uplifted banner of "By our nation itself".
