Noting that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities launched the joint military exercises for aggression against the DPRK despite the warnings of the DPRK and the unanimous protest of the world peace-loving people, the statement said:

The U.S. turned aside the DPRK's proposal for concluding a peace treaty and kicked off the exercises with south Korea, thus revealing its true colors as an aggressor and wrecker of peace and stability and driving the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a war.

The Arab Socialist Party of Egypt demands that the U.S. stop at once the anti-DPRK war games, withdraw its forces from south Korea and immediately accept the proposal of the DPRK.

We call upon all the progressive and peace-loving forces of the world to lift up their voices of protest against the U.S.-south Korea military exercises for aggression and express solidarity with the just cause of the Korean people.

The Staffordshire, Britain, Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, too, made public a statement on Mar. 6 condemning the exercises.

The U.S. and the south Korean warmongers should be aware that any threat and blackmail can never work on socialist Korea, the statement said, calling on the public of Britain to extend support and encouragement to the Korean people in the efforts for national reunification and on the British government swim with the trend of the times opposing the war exercises in south Korea.
