The saber-rattling involving huge armed forces are provocative exercises for a war of aggression seriously threatening peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, the statement held, adding:

The exercises clearly show who truly wishes for global peace and stability and who seeks a war.

We strongly urge the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to immediately stop the joint military exercises going against the trend of the times if they truly stand for global peace and stability.

It statement stressed that the Italian progressive forces and personages and all the people desirous of peace would positively support the Korean people in their cause of peace on the Korean Peninsula and struggle against the U.S. and other imperialists' policy of aggression.
