Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet bellicose forces staged the joint exercises for airlifting supplies for the first half of 2010 in Kyonggi and South Kangwon provinces on Mar. 15 and 16 and a river crossing drill in Kyonggi Province on Mar. 17, according to Yonhap News of south Korea. Involved in those exercises were the fifth tactical airborne corps of the puppet air force and the first logistic support command of the army. The exercises were reported to be mainly designed to rapidly hurl armed forces, equipment and war materiel necessary for executing a war in "contingency" on the Korean Peninsula. "C-130H" and "CN-235" and other huge war equipment were hurled into those madcap air dropping and air-lifting and landing exercises. The warmongers of the sixth engineer brigade under the puppet sixth army corps were busy with ensuring the river-crossing of attacking units by mobilizing K-1 tanks, various type river-crossing facilities and huge forces. This indicates that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet bellicose forces are keen on the exercises for mounting a preemptive attack on the DPRK. |
