Present there were members of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the "Sun of Juche" Association of Journalists and Men of Culture for the Study of Kimjongilism and personages of academic circles.

The meeting discussed the matter of significantly commemorating the Day of the Sun.

The committee set a commemoration period from March 13 to April 15 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events highly lauding the greatness and the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung in the period.

Then there was a seminar on General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "On Having a Correct Understanding of Nationalism".
