Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- British political parties and organizations staged a demonstration outside the U.S. and south Korean embassies in London on Monday in protest against Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises staged by the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers. Attending the demonstration were Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, Kevin Cain, organizational secretary of the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, and other personages of political parties and organizations and popular masses. Dermot Hudson made a speech there. He vehemently denounced the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises as a nuclear war game aimed at preemptive attack on the DPRK and a crime of threatening the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world. He called upon the British public to intensify the activities for checking the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities for aggression on the DPRK and defending its socialism. Kevin Cain read out the report of the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army and the statement of a spokesman for the KPA Panmunjom Mission. The participants in the demonstration condemned the reckless war moves of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities, waving pennants of the DPRK and chanting slogans such as "Long Live the DPRK!" "Victory to the KPA!" and "Korea Is One!" with placards reading "U.S. Forces, Get Out of Korea" and "Down with the U.S. Imperialists" in their hands. Meanwhile, the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Communist Party issued a statement on Tuesday in denunciation of the said joint military exercises. |
