Warmongers' Design for Invasion of DPRK Flayed
Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- The Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises staged by the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers defying the strong protest and denunciation of the Koreans and other peace-loving people of the world proved in practice that they are leaving no means untried to realize their wild ambition for invading the DPRK, says Minju Joson Saturday in a signed commentary.

The Key Resolve and Foal Eagle were very dangerous nuclear war exercises for invading the DPRK in the light of the armed forces involved and contents of their program, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet warmongers described the said war exercises as "defensive" and "annual" rehearsals. This was shameless sophism aimed at concealing the aggressive and provocative nature of the exercises for a preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK and misleading the public opinion at home and abroad.

The above-said saber-rattling rendered the situation on the Korean Peninsula so tense that a war may break out any moment and further deteriorated the DPRK-U.S. relations and the inter-Korean relations.

It was entirely thanks to the DPRK's war deterrent for self-defence that the military exercises did not go over to a total war.

The army and people of the DPRK will make every possible effort in the future, too, to defend peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. and south Korean puppet warmongers would be well advised to stop acting rashly, bearing in mind that they can never realize their scenario for invading the DPRK.
