Kim Yong Nam Greets Namibian President
Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, on Mar. 18 sent a message of greetings to Hifikepunye Pohamba, president of Namibia, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its independence.

The message noted that under the correct leadership of the South West Africa People's Organizational Party the Namibian people achieved the independence of the country through the protracted and hard-fought struggle and have made great progress in the work to build free and prosperous Namibia over the last two decades since its independence. The Korean people are rejoiced as over their own over the successes being made by the friendly Namibian people, it added.

Sincerely wishing the president and people of Namibia greater success in the work for the national unity and the rapid economic development, it expressed belief that the good relations of friendship and cooperation existing between the DPRK and Namibia would continue to grow stronger in several fields in the future, too.
