"Kim Jong Suk Library" Founded in Peru
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The "Kim Jong Suk Library" was founded in Peru.

The library is stocked with works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and books introducing the immortal feats of anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk and the advantages and might of the socialist system in the DPRK.

A ceremony of opening it to visitors took place at the building of the Peruvian People's Women Union on March 13.

The general secretary of the union said at the ceremony that the library is named after Kim Jong Suk, woman commander of Mt. Paektu, in order to make all the Peruvian women model on her who made great contribution to the Korean revolution and the development of the women's movement.

It is the greatest feat of Kim Jong Suk that she brought up Kim Jong Il as the prominent leader of the Korean revolution and thus provided sure guarantee for the future of Korea, the general secretary said, adding: The library will be greatly conducive to the activities of the union for building a democratic, new society and awakening of the Peruvian women.
