Concern Voiced about Move to Discriminate against Korean Schools

| Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The UN Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, in a report related to the enforcement of the agreement on eliminating racial discrimination in Japan on March 16, recommended the Japanese government to conduct a fact-finding survey of foreign schools and various other schools and urged it to take measures against any discrimination in education. The report expressed concern about calls for excluding the Korean schools from the tuition-free program for senior high schools, terming them "acts of discriminating against children's education." |
