The jointly signed article says that the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu provided by President Kim Il Sung in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle are the historic roots of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean revolution and the lifeline that provides a steady continuity to the revolution.

Mt. Paektu is the symbol of Kim Il Sung's nation and a sacred mountain of the Songun revolution. The Korean revolution finds its roots on Mt. Paektu and the spirit of the DPRK is the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu.

The single-minded unity, mainstay of our revolution, the great Songun politics and the honor of our country and people dignified with the Juche idea are all linked with Mt. Paektu.

It is impossible to make the long journey of the Songun revolution without knowing Mt. Paektu associated with the revolutionary history of the President and the noble souls of the revolutionary martyrs and blood shed by them.

Referring to the leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il who glorified the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu as the eternal cornerstone of the Korean revolution, the article stresses that the area of Mt. Paektu spruced up as the vast site for education in the revolutionary traditions in the new century is the noble fruition of the revolutionary faith and will of Kim Jong Il as well as his outstanding and tested leadership.

The strong mental power of Kim Il Sung's nation being displayed in the building of a great prosperous and powerful nation originated from the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu and these traditions are the eternal treasure that firmly guarantees a bright future of the Korean revolution, it says.

No matter how desperately the U.S. and other imperialists may persist in their vicious moves for psychological warfare and the bourgeois ideological and cultural poisoning to benumb the revolutionary consciousness of the Korean people, they can never shake the faith of the Korean people firmly armed with the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu, concludes the article.
