Academic Degrees Awarded to Overseas Compatriots

| Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The DPRK doctorate of history was conferred on Ri Yong Su, dean of the Faculty of Literature and History at Joson University under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), with due ceremony at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Monday. Ri Yong Su has made contribution to systematizing in an integrated whole the theoretical and practical problems arising in applying the great Juche idea, the Songun idea to the movement of Koreans in Japan to strengthen Chongryon. |
