Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- It is a vital issue for people to correctly monitor the change of the atmosphere under the present situation where the climatic change poses a serious problem, observes Minju Joson Tuesday in a signed article dedicated to World Meteorological Day which falls on today. There are a lot of problems to be solved in the field of meteorological observation, the article notes, and goes on: The accuracy of the meteorological observation has not yet been ensured fully and in a more detailed manner. Worse still, catastrophic consequences of the weather phenomena are not forecast in good time. What is more serious is the fact that different countries of the world are aware of the serious nature of the climatic change, but fail to be positive enough to take decisive measures to solve the problem, seeking their immediate interests only, and united actions are not fully taken for international cooperation. However, the inexhaustible efforts of humankind to remake nature as required by it will surely bring about big progress in this field in the days ahead and it will not only effectively control the climatic change but actively meet various natural and climatic conditions. |
