Yuri Cesar Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, said at the lecture that Kim Jong Il's election as chairman of the NDC of the DPRK marked an important occasion in further demonstrating the might of the KPA as an invincible strong army.

Under his leadership the KPA has grown to be the army strong in ideology and faith which no other army in the world can match, the secretary general said, adding that the KPA is prepared for both offensive and defensive, being possessed of a powerful nuclear deterrent.

The KPA, holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem as chairman of the NDC of the DPRK, would demonstrate its might as an invincible strong army in the future, too, he noted.

Speakers at the friendly meeting held by the Peruvian People's Women Union said with high appreciation that the Korean women are leading a genuine life as the powerful forces dynamically pushing one of the wheels of the revolutionary chariot, while enjoying all kinds of state benefits under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
