US Bacteriological Warfare Disclosed
Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration in south Korea on March 20 issued a statement disclosing the bacteriological warfare carried out by the U.S. imperialists during the Korean war.

The statement referred to the fact that various evidence proving the bacteriological warfare carried out by the U.S. during the Korean war was disclosed by a foreign press report some days ago. Also disclosed were video tapes testifying to the facts that the U.S. received materials on the bacteriological warfare from war criminals of Unit 731 of the Japanese imperialists and that officers of the unit confessed they helped the U.S. wage the Korean war and other information, it added.

The statement charged that GIs who participated in the Korean war including a pilot of the U.S. forces who had been taken prisoner by soldiers of the People's Army testified to the above-said bacteriological warfare long ago and an international fact-finding group made a conclusion on the war but the U.S. has refused to admit the crime till now.

The recently disclosed evidence brought to daylight the truth about the bacteriological warfare fought by the U.S. and with nothing can it deny the hard facts, it noted.

The statement urged the United States to admit the bacteriological warfare without delay, open to the public the truth about it and punish those responsible.

The south Korean people will struggle to the last to force the U.S. to pull its forces and all its war equipment for aggression out of south Korea, declared the statement.
