Eddie Kekana, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Progressive Ideas of South Africa, at the lecture said that President Kim Il Sung indicated the path of the Korean revolution with his gifted wisdom and original ideas and theories and accomplished the historic cause of national liberation. He successfully realized the cause of founding the party, the state and the army and led to victory the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists, the chairman said, adding:

Kim Il Sung turned the DPRK into a powerful state in which the principle of independence in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliance in national defence is thoroughly embodied and consolidated as firm as a rock the independent people's power which commands the unanimous support from all the Korean people.

Banou Keita, chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association, at the lecture said that Kim Il Sung performed ideological and theoretical exploits to be specially recorded in the human history of thinking, adding:

The Korean revolution could make steady victorious progress despite unprecedented arduous and complicated trials and the progressives could have a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon for national liberation and anti-imperialist struggle thanks to the creation of the Juche idea, the Songun idea by Kim Il Sung.

Kim Il Sung moved and attracted all people with his boundless loving care and benevolence. Believe in the people and rely on them at all times and you shall always emerge victorious; if you are forsaken by them, you will always fail. This is his lifelong maxim.
