"Among the People" Vol. 85 Published

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- A collection of reminiscences "Among the People" Vol. 85 was brought out by the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House. It contains 18 reminiscences dealing with devoted efforts and noble personality of President Kim Il Sung who dedicated his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of people. Reminiscences "'Let Us Rehabilitate the Destroyed Works by Our Own Efforts at Any Cost'" tell the story that the President visited the Kangson Steel Works on August 3, Juche 42 (1953) and instilled confidence and courage into its workers so that they might rehabilitate the destroyed works by their own efforts and with their own technology and, in this course, brought about a great miracle in its rehabilitation. Reminiscences "He Visited the Fields of Our Farm", "To Bring Bumper Harvest to Kindung Plain" and "To Organize Work Teams in Rural Areas Suited to the Actual Conditions" deal with the wise leadership of the President who indicated an orientation and ways to bring about a rich harvest, walking roads between fields to find a solution to people's food shortage, without having a rest. The book contains reminiscences telling stories about the loving care shown by the President who specified ways of successfully managing and operating Chongryu Restaurant specializing in national dishes and made sure that all cities and rural villages of the country were built into a land of bliss for the people. Also contained in the book are reminiscences telling stories that the President taught foreign trade officials to conduct foreign trade out of patriotism, he appointed a common official to the post looking after the party work of a county and taught him one by one to do his job well. There are in the book reminiscences dealing with the unbounded benevolence he bestowed upon soldiers of the People's Army and bereaved families of revolutionary martyrs. |
