The President is the sun of mankind as he bestowed the warm benevolence not only on the Korean people but also on the world people regardless of differences in race, nationality, ideology, political view and religious belief.

The President received a total of more than 70 000 foreigners in his lifetime, among them people of different strata from party and state leaders to ordinary persons.

All the prominent figures of the world, honored with the audience of the President, were deeply moved by his noble personality.

When the President passed away unexpectedly in July 1994 the world people felt as if the heaven collapsed and the sun faded away.

But the sun is everlasting.

As the sun is eternal, the President is always alive with mankind.
