The President said bean curd rich in protein content and nice in taste was of weighty significance in the diet and that neither a large factory nor complex equipment was necessary but small factories were enough for the bean curd production.

He also said that when bean curd factories were built in different places, it would be possible to easily solve the shortage of manpower. He then told the officials to take measures to produce various kinds of bean curd for the citizens.
