Kamwiziku Octave in his statement praised President Kim Il Sung as a gifted thinker-theoretician and strategist and the great leader who built the people-centered socialist system in Korea.

It is an urgent task for the African countries to study and disseminate the Juche idea fathered by the President and apply it in practice, the statement said, expressing the determination to strive to learn from the immortal Juche idea and widely disseminate it to the African region in the future, too.

Harising Khang noted in his statement that the Korean people commemorate April 15, the birthday of Kim Il Sung, as the Day of the Sun, holding him in high esteem as the eternal President of the DPRK. The President will always live in the hearts of the Korean people and the world's progressive people, he added.

The statement hoped that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would register greater successes in the efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the WPK, holding high the banner of independence against imperialism.
