Those conservative media are busy zealously defending the unpopular and anti-reunification policies of the authorities and, at the same time, staging a malignant smear campaign against the DPRK, persistently defiling its just measures.

Some media of south Korea are acting waiting maids of the authorities. They are just echoing sheer jargons let loose by the conservative ruling forces calling for dependence on outside forces and confrontation with fellow countrymen, shutting their eyes to justice and truth, pursuant to their policies. This behavior cannot be interpreted otherwise than a sort of betrayal.

The above-said media organizations which should lead the times and speak for the public mind-set and justice and truth are playing the role of a shock brigade in defending the group of traitors and staging a smear campaign against fellow countrymen after being reduced to trumpeters for the group, rebuffed by the public for yielding to the dictatorship. Nothing is more shameless than this act of abandoning their faith as media persons.

It is self-evident that the above-mentioned media can never be genuine media for the nation as they are playing the role of trumpeters for the group of traitors, utterly indifferent to the interests of the nation.

Any media person desirous of independence, democracy and reunification should lift his voice of justice for social progress, democracy, reunification and patriotism in strong protest against the conservative group's moves to turn media into its tools.

If the reactionary conservative media of south Korea persist in their acts of treachery as wicked servants for the fascist dictators, this will only precipitate their own ruin.

The above-said conservative media and hack writers of south Korea would be well advised to face up to the reality, properly foresee the future and behave with discretion.
