The artistes of the art troupe honored with "Kim Il Sung Order" put on the stage such colorful numbers as chorus "We Will Live With the Leader Forever", "Party Represents Care of the General", 10 women group singing and chorus "Moranbong" and female solo "My Korea".

The performers enthusiastically sang of the shining course of struggle covered by the Korean revolution winning victories only under the leadership of Kim Jong Il and successfully represented the heroic stamina and indomitable will of the army and people of the DPRK to dash ahead toward the high eminence of a thriving nation under the uplifted banner of Songun.

They successfully represented all numbers with high artistry, strikingly demonstrating the might of the prestigious art troupe.

When the performance was over, Kim Jong Il waved back to the enthusiastically cheering performers and audience and congratulated the performers on their successful performance.

Expressing great satisfaction over the fact that the artistes of the troupe gave a splendid performance rich in ideological contents and high in artistry as it is distinct in the political stand and fully reflects the desire and wishes of the people, he extended high appreciation and thanks to all the creators and artistes.

Since its foundation the art troupe has created and performed a lot of successful works of peculiar genres as required by the times by successfully embodying the WPK's idea of literature and arts, thereby greatly contributing to the development of Juche-based arts and rendering positive services for educating the party members and other working people in a revolutionary way, he said, highly appreciating their laudable achievements.

He expressed the expectation and conviction that the creators and artistes of the art troupe would as ever preserve its tradition as a revolutionary art troupe and encourage the army and people in the struggle for accomplishing the cause of building a thriving nation through courageous art creation and performing activities, indicating important tasks which would serve as guidelines for their art creation and performing activities.

Among the audience were KPA Vice-Marshal Kim Yong Chun, vice-chairman of the NDC of the DPRK and minister of the People's Armed Forces, KPA General Kim Jong Gak, member of the NDC of the DPRK and first vice-director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA and other commanding officers of the army and leading officials of the WPK Central Committee including its Secretaries Choe Thae Bok and Kim Ki Nam and Department Director Kim Kyong Hui.
