"Among the People" Vol. 86 Published

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House issued Vol. 86 of "Among the People", a collection of reminiscences. Contained in the book are 19 reminiscences telling about the distinguished leadership, noble virtues and warm loving care of President Kim Il Sung who built Korea into the socialist power of Juche and devoted his all to the happiness of the people. Reminiscences "Remembering the indelible traces left in Huichon" and "Calling for One More Demonstration of Kangson's Mettle" deal with the facts that the President visited Huichon and wisely led the construction of a base for the machine-building industry in the days of the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War and guided the then Kangson Steel Works, the birthplace of the Chollima movement, to take the lead in the drive to attain the target of steel production for the fulfillment of the First Seven-Year Plan. Among those reminiscences are "For the development of the nation's education" telling about the leadership feats of the President who showed deep care for the education of the rising generations and "Unforgettable Chilgol in spring" dealing with the fact that he called for inheriting the noble patriotic soul and spirit cherished by his revolutionary family members while recalling with deep emotion the career of his mother Kang Pan Sok. There are also reminiscences telling that the President worked heart and soul for the agricultural development of the country and led officials to fully discharge their duty as a faithful servant of the people and reminiscences elaborating on his personality as the great man who led the same life with that of the common people all his life while showing boundless love for the revolutionary comrades and people. |
