DPRK, Gambia Sign Agreements

| Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- An agreement on friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and the Republic of Gambia, an agreement on founding inter-governmental joint committee and an agreement on technical cooperation in various fields between the two countries were signed in Banjul. Present at the signing ceremony from the DPRK side were Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Choe Chang Sik, minister of Public Health, Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ri Myong San, vice-minister of Foreign Trade, and Ri Kyong Son, DPRK ambassador to Gambia. Present from the opposite side were President Yaya A.J.J. Jammeh, Vice-President Aja Isatou Njie Saidy, General Secretary of the Presidential Office Mariama Khan, Minister of Fishery, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Lamin Kaba Bajo and others. The agreements were inked by President Kim Yong Nam, Kim Hyong Jun and Ri Myong San and President Yaya A.J.J. Jammeh and Ramin Kaba Bajo. |
