Bitterly denouncing the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group for their sinister scheme to bring down the socialist system of the DPRK by force of arms, the statement continued:

The stand clarified by a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army on Mar. 25 is a very just and revolutionary stand to defend the sovereignty of the DPRK and most advantageous Korean-style socialism.

It is quite just for the DPRK to bolster up its nuclear deterrent to cope with all the moves of enemies including the U.S. imperialists.

"Contingency" in the DPRK touted by them is so unimaginable that nobody lends an ear to such sheer nonsense.

The DPRK is the most stable and harmonious country in the world as it is guided by the Juche idea, the Songun idea.

The "contingency" touted by them will break out in south Korea where all sorts of social evils and ills, internal contradictions and "conflicts among the people" have reached an extreme phase.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group are working hard to bring down the socialist system in the DPRK.

It is a perfidy to socialism and the cause of independence to follow the moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet group even in a passive manner.

Meanwhile, the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain made public a statement on the same day denouncing the germ warfare waged by the U.S. imperialists in the last Korean war.
