Saying that the WHO has organized various activities and events on the occasion of the day every year, the daily notes that the theme of the day for this year is "1,000 cities, 1,000 lives: issue of city and health".

The WHO put forward such special theme as the issue of city and health on World Health Day this year and has carried out the work on a full scale in order to address the issues of health of urbanites and quality of their living conditions, the article says.

Noting that colorful projects and activities have taken place in different parts of the DPRK according to the theme for this year, the article stresses that the DPRK will creditably play its role as a member state of the WHO and strengthen cooperation with the organization.
