The statement described as an immortal great programme for reunification the 10-point programme which carries the President's noble patriotic intention to open the gate to national reunification by the concerted efforts of all Koreans.

It expressed full support and solidarity with the steadfast stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people to improve the north-south relations and hasten national reunification on the basis of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration provided by General Secretary
Kim Jong Il.

It charged that the U.S. and the south Korean authorities recently staged joint military exercises against the DPRK by mobilizing huge aggression armed forces and that the south Korean authorities are getting hell-bent on the inter-Korean confrontation in collusion with foreign forces after totally denying the June 15 joint declaration.

It called upon all the political parties, governments and organizations of the world wishing for peace, stability and reunification of the Korean Peninsula to fully support the WPK and the Korean people in the struggle to meet all sorts of challenges of the separatist forces and achieve the independent reunification of the country under the banner of the inter-Korean declarations according to the 10-point programme.
