The president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung founded the Songun idea and achieved the historic cause of national liberation guided by it, adding that he developed the Korean People's Revolutionary Army into modern regular armed forces, thus defeating the U.S. imperialists in the Fatherland Liberation War and defending the sovereignty of the country.
