The work, published on Sept. 5, Juche 97 (2008), elucidates the fact that the six-decade long history of the DPRK is a history of gigantic struggle and victory and a history of great creation and changes in which the Korean people have built a prosperous socialist country while defending the independence and honor of the country, going through the tempests of the revolution, under the guidance of the great leader and party. And it clarifies the idea that even a small and backward country can turn into a developed and dignified power when it is guided by great leader and party.

Also expounded in the work are the tasks and ways for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche under the banner of the Juche idea and Songun.

A ceremony of releasing the work took place at the publishing house on April. 5.
