His handwritings were carved in many monuments, bridges, barrages and natural rocks in all areas of the country.

His autographs written in Korean or Chinese characters are found in the monument of his poem in General Secretary Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan secret camp, hanging boards of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Okryu Bridge and Kumnung Tunnel, and monuments to the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, West Sea Barrage and Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower.

Seen in the monument to the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong is an inscription "The noble revolutionary spirit displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs will dwell forever in the hearts of our Party and our people. October 10, 1985 Kim Il Sung". The inscription is associated with the President's intention to give brilliance to the life of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs and make the younger generation inherit their indomitable revolutionary spirit.

His autographs are characterized by great power, stamina, and vigor.

Typical of them is an inscription of the monument to the West Sea Barrage. It says, "The West Sea Barrage is a great creation of the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude of our people. Glory to the barrage builders! May 22, 1986 Kim Il Sung".

Among his autographs are "The United Front Tower", "Chongchon Bridge", "Chungsong Bridge" and "Rungna Bridge".
