The hospital has all specialized treatment rooms, auxiliary diagnostic rooms, sick-rooms, a dental materials factory, general lecture room for education, laboratories, etc. and is fully equipped with modern treatment facilities including general dental appliances and welfare service amenities.

Present at the opening ceremony were Premier Kim Yong Il, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Choe Thae Bok, Minister of Public Health Choe Chang Sik, Minister of Capital City Construction Kim Ung Gwan, officials and employees of the hospital, builders and working people in the city.
