Kim Jong Il Sends Educational Aid Fund and Stipends

| Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il sent educational aid fund and stipends for the democratic national education of the children of Koreans in Japan to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on the occasion of the 98th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung. The fund and stipends amounted to 184,027,390 yen in Japanese currency. The educational aid fund and stipends remitted by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to Chongryon in 156 installments so far totaled 46,594 ,250,390 yen. |
