The venue of the event was pervaded with boundless longing for President Kim Il Sung.

Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the union, addressing the event, said that the whole life of Kim Il Sung was a noble life of a great revolutionary and a tender-hearted father as he laid an eternal foundation for realizing all the ideals of the people, regarding it as his maxim to believe in people as in Heaven.

Recalling that Kim Il Sung led the DPRK and its people to victory and epoch-making changes, thus building a socialist paradise on this land and enabling the women of the country to lead a worthwhile life, she stressed that these undying exploits would remain shining forever.

Reflecting the ardent longing of all the women of the country for Kim Il Sung, they put on the stage poet and song "Let's Sing of the Day of the Sun", immortal classic masterpiece "Song of Loyalty", chorus "Mine Is Always the Country of Kim Il Sung" and other numbers, emphasizing that the Koreans greeted a new era of the Juche revolution and the heyday of prosperity of Kim Il Sung's nation thanks to the day which witnessed the great fortune of the nation.
