German Parliamentary Delegation Leaves

| Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A delegation of parliamentarians of Bundestag from the coalition ruling parties of Germany led by Peter Gauweiler, member of Bundestag of the Christian Social Union and chairman of the Sub-committee of Policy of Foreign Culture and Education of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee, left here for home Wednesday. While staying in the DPRK, the delegation visited the Changgwang Kindergarten, the Pongsu Church and other places. After going round the church, the head of the delegation said that he was amazed to learn that there are churches in the DPRK. He continued: I thought I would find no church in the DPRK because I heard a lot of propagandas that there was no church there. But I was enlightened to see such a big church in the DPRK. The propaganda was a sheer lie. Back home, I will tell a lot of Germans that there are churches in the DPRK. The delegation arrived here on April 12. |
