The statement recalled that President Kim Il Sung published work "10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country" on April 6, 1993, adding that the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo are the three charters for national reunification in which the President comprehensively clarified the fundamental principle and ways for the country's reunification.

The committee is confident that the above-said 10-point programme serves as a banner for Korea's reunification, the statement added.

The statement noted that the followers of the Juche idea in Nigeria recognize that the conclusion of a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S. is urgent for ensuring peace and security on the Korean Peninsula, expressing full support for the DPRK's proposal for an early start of the talks to this end.
