President Kim Il Sung liberated the usurped country, holding high the banner of Juche when Korea suffered an eclipse in the world map, and built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, a new world centred on the popular masses, the letter said, stressing that his feats are shining in the human history as miracles of the 20th century.

The President, who laid an eternal foundation for the prosperity of the country and the people's happiness, was a savior and a real father as he brought the Koreans in Japan the joy of the rebirth of the nation, provided them with honor, dignity and genuine patriotic life as overseas citizens of an independent and sovereign state and looked after them with care warmer than sunrays, it said, and went on:

As led by you, the DPRK emerged a politico-ideological power which has achieved the unbreakable single-minded unity, a military power with powerful war deterrent and a scientific and technological power pushing back the frontiers of latest science and technology, overlooking the world after shattering all moves of the imperialist allied forces to isolate and stifle it.

Today the Koreans in Japan are fully confident of the truth of history that thanks to your leadership the undying feats of the President recorded in the history of the movement of Koreans in Japan always remain shining and a rosy future lies in following you.

The Koreans in Japan will devote patriotism and sincerity to building a thriving nation, contribute to the cause of national reunification under the banner of "By our nation itself", thoroughly reject and frustrate the moves of the reactionaries against the DPRK and Chongryon through positive external activities and make contributions to promoting the friendship between the peoples of the DPRK and Japan and implementing the DPRK-Japan Pyongyang Declaration, the letter concluded.
